Chair: Steve McCabe MP

Co-Chair: Baroness (Floella) Benjamin of Beckenham OBE

Vice-Chairs: Julie Elliot MP, Dame Diana Johnson MP, Lord McColl of Dulwich, Adam Holloway MP

The purpose of this group is to promote evidence-based discussion and produce reports on all aspects of childhood health and wellbeing including obesity; to inform policy decisions and public debate relating to childhood and to enable communications between interested parties and relevant parliamentarians.

Claire Field and Kam Kaur regularly attend these meetings to advocate for early intervention for families, to reduce the negative impact on children’s mental health and long-term life chances.
